Ingredients:
– 2 lb button mushrooms
– 1 lb sweet italian sausage, ground
– 1 clove garlic, minced
– 2 TBSP green onion, chopped
– 4 oz cream cheese
– 1/3 cup parmesan, shredded
– 1/4 cup seasoned panko breadcrumbs
– 1 TBSP fresh parsley, minced
DIRECTIONS:
1.) Clean mushrooms and remove stems (discard stems)
2.) Preheat oven to 400 degrees
3.) Brown sausage, drain grease
4.) Add onion and garlic to pan with sausage, cook for one minute
5.) Add cream cheese, 1/4 cup of parmesan, panko and parsley
6.) Stir until cheese is melted and combined
7.) Stuff mushrooms with sausage mixture, top with shredded parm
8.) Bake for 15 minutes
